About Shelby…

I’m Shelby Vittek, a detail-oriented storyteller with more than a decade of experience in producing and managing content for print and digital media, with specializations in wine, food, climate, and agriculture. I am the Content Manager for Row 7 Seeds, and was formerly the Editor in Chief of Modern Farmer.

My writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Bon Appétit, National Geographic, Departures, Wine Enthusiast, Ambrook Research, Saveur, Modern Farmer, Liquor.com, Longreads, Narratively, The Kitchn, SevenFifty Daily, among others.

I hold an MFA from Rutgers University–Camden and have taught at Rutgers University–Camden, Rowan University, and Cedar Crest College.
